Dear Fellow Rotarians & friends,
July signifies the start of a new year on the Rotary calendar. With the New Year, there comes new inspirations and renewed ideals for all of us to share. It’s also a very special year for us.
Our club was founded in 1990. We will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill in this 2019-2020 Rotary season. We’re more than a generation old and we remain the most respected organization in the community. That’s something that we should all be proud of.
I’m optimistic that the 2019-2020 Rotary year will be one to truly remember. I’d like to extend a special thanks to all of our Charter Members for building our club on such a solid foundation. Thirty years later and we’re thriving as an organization.
Some of our continuing goals for this Rotary Year:
- To do things that truly make a difference.
- To bring the club to 45 members.
- To have more fun!
- To help as many people as we can.
- To be the model club in our Rotary District.
I’d like to close as I did in my first message as president…
It’s a great honor to be the President of The Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill. I look forward to the year ahead and to the many great things that we’ll do together....
“At the end of the day an organization is not going to be judged by one or two or three moments in time. It will be judged by its longevity.” - Unknown
With Great Warmth to All…
Yours in Rotary,
