The Rotary Club of Montgomery Rocky Hill has sent $2,000 to the World Central Kitchen (WCK) to support the Ukraine Refugees. WCK has set up a station on the Poland-Ukraine border, and is sending another team to Romania, another country to which the refugees are fleeing. Yesterday, it started working with restaurants in the Ukrainian cities of Odessa and Lviv to support families who have not left the country.
WCK serves fresh meals to people suffering disasters, whether in war or due to natural causes, such as the Kentucky tornadoes or Hurricane Harvey.
