Last week came the news from Rotary International that Africa has been declared polio free. The last endemic country, Nigeria, was certified as Polio Free. The only nations left to go are Afghanistan and Pakistan. Eradicating polio has been a longtime mission of Rotary and it is exciting to note that we are getting close.
