We will be meeting at Cherry Valley Country Club outside on the 2nd floor patio which can be accessed by going through the main entrance and turning left and going through the bar area. Masks must be worn at all times when inside the building, as well as, outside if you are within 6 feet of someone else. A limited breakfast will be available. We will also send out a Zoom link to the membership so that all can participate. Our speaker this week will be Michael Paluszek from Princeton Satellite Systems.
Our Director of Club Service, Kevin Lynch, is seeking ideas for our upcoming Holiday Party at our morning meeting on Dec 17th. Because of the COVID-19 safeguards, the usual program of visiting carolers and sitting on Santa's lap is out of the question. If you have a good pandemically safe idea, let Kevin know or else the program will default to White Elephant gifts and ugly sweater contests.
Did you know that Rotary has formed an alliance with Toastmasters? It's true - and they're offering a series of leadership and communication courses to Rotary and Rotaract members. The first two courses, now available in multiple languages in the Learning Center, discuss fundamental leadership skills like motivation, integrity, and team inclusiveness. You’ll also discover how ethics, decision making, goal setting, and delegating help you develop the skills necessary to lead a team effectively. Watch this video to learn how to find the courses in the Learning Center and how to get the most out of them.
