If you’re a philosopher, an expert in quantum mechanics or spend a lot of time on Facebook, you probably have heard of Schrödinger’s Cat. It’s a theoretical construct that says something can be in two different states at the same time. With the cat, for example, the argument was that after being exposed to poison there was an exact point in time where it was simultaneously alive and dead. Animal lovers (I’m looking at you Heather Achenbach) please don’t be alarmed, no actual cat was harmed during the promulgation of this paradox. |
