Our club's weekly virtual meetings will now start at 8AM. Zoltan Nagy will send out a meeting link prior to the meeting. Please note that if you don't have a camera or are having a particularly bad hair day, you can join by phone. If you are having any trouble with joining the Zoom meetings or have questions, please contact Zoltan at znagy@scdgcapital.com.
Since I’ve been given some mandatory time off, I wanted to really use my time wisely. My idea was to put together a plan for making the most of my time at home. I work a lot of hours as many of us do. Sometimes, I feel that everyone at work sees the very best of me and when I get home, my family, especially my wife, sees a less affable version of me. I’ve come to the realization that I would like to give my family the best of me whenever possible. So I came up with a three-step plan to bonding with your spouse during a pandemic.
Although the Run With Rotary is cancelled, we are still drawing the winners of the 50/50 tickets on May 3rd. We know it's tough but try to sell some tickets this week! Please follow the procedures outlined in Bill Beachell's email to return the sold and unsold tickets back to him prior to that date.
Affirming our commitment to our local first responders, we donated $4,000 worth of N95 masks to the Montgomery EMS Squad 47 who were running desperately low on supplies.
Like the Energizer Bunny, the Grab & Go Lunch program keeps going and going - thanks to generous donations that are almost at $12,000. Partnering with the Montgomery Business Association (MBA) and headed up by the dynamic duo of Cory Wingerter and Lisa Youngberg, the program consists of raising money to buy prepackaged lunches at local delis and restaurants and then delivering them to the hardworking employees at our local hospitals.
